Medical Administration at CareAgape Senior Homes

CareAgape homes are pioneered by a revolutionary care model of full-time live-in caregivers, but a frequently asked question is whether our caregivers help with all-important medical administration. This guide will help give you a better picture of the role of caregivers and how they can benefit you or your loved one.

The Role of Caregivers
At CareAgape Senior Homes, caregivers are the key to our model and to creating a loving family home. Every CareAgape home is owned and operated by a live-in caregiver who has a vested interest in each resident.

Their sole purpose and operative is to ensure that residents receive all the care they need and that families know their loved ones are safe and secure. The caregivers at CareAgape are like extended family, and that’s what sets CareAgape apart.

All of our qualified caregivers are carefully trained to serve our residents by providing continuous, exceptional care for a resident’s physical, social, and cognitive well-being. CareAgape provides a 3:1 resident to caregiver ratio, ensuring personalized care as well as optimal safety and security.

Personalized Care Plan
Caregivers are onsite 24/7 and are able to help residents with any of their medical needs. Communication is a key part of this model—by letting a caregiver know exactly what you or your loved one needs, they’ll be able to fulfill these needs and provide optimal care.

A personalized care plan is created to clarify and determine a resident’s needs. These care plans include medical care and administration of prescriptions or other help as required. Caregivers can consult with the resident, as well as the resident’s family and doctor as needed to fully outline and confirm the care plan.

The ultimate goal is to foster a loving family home at the time in a senior’s life when their own home has become more challenging than comforting.

Additional Assistance
We are also prepared and equipped to provide extra assistance for seniors who require additional levels of care. CareAgape homes are designed to handle seniors who are experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and those who are at risk of falling.

Additionally, our caregivers can provide incontinence and toiletry assistance, transfer assistance, bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance, as well as 24-hour emergency response if needed.

CareAgape Senior Homes is partnered with NeuroPraxis, integrating their specialized rehabilitation skills into our nurturing family homes. This partnership provides a healthy alternative for traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients discharged from hospitals or post-acute rehabilitation facilities, where patients can live among more functional residents and receive the support they need to become self-sufficient in the long-term.
