Vener and Maruja take care of the residents at this CareAgape location. Vener has been in the senior care business for 7 years, and enjoys creating a wonderful home environment for residents and their families.
“Being a good caregiver means giving good care,” Vener says, “but one thing I consider most important is the relationship with peers, seniors, and families. It’s important to have good relationships with everyone who enters the home, like the nurses, doctors, and therapists, to be able to communicate with them well.”

“It takes a lot of patience and understanding to become a good caregiver,” says Maruja. “You also have to know how to solve problems. The seniors all have different needs. In order to be a good caregiver, you need to learn to adjust to meet the seniors’ needs.”

With plenty of living space, residents can feel free to enjoy each other’s company, or find quiet time to relax. There are plenty of celebrations to be had, including birthdays (of residents and staff), holidays and more. Have a favorite chair you love to sit in? Bring it with you! This residence is also home to an entertaining bird and colorful fish.
